Pumpkin Patch

The class went to Dr. Collins' pumpkin patch which is located in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Dr. Collins talked to the students about all of the different pumpkins that he grows in his patch. He also described to the students how a pumpkin grows. After Dr. Collins' pumpkin talk, the kids and I got to walk through the pumpkin patch and pick out a class pumpkin. The kids had so much fun and learned a lot about different varieties of pumpkins and how they grow.
